Compostable Packaging<\/b><\/h4> \n

Introducing our unique packaging for watch hands and dials made with compostable material derived from bamboo and starch. It is ISO 17088 certified and is 100% free of chemicals. This reduces our carbon footprint and is an

Million Tree Project Update<\/b><\/h4>\n

Three years ago we pledged to plant a million tress reviving the drying areas across India. Till now, 1,84,735 trees have been planted. This year, our focus was on Gooty, the second driest area in India. In 2023, we planted 80,180 saplings over 25 hectares of land here.<\/p>\n\n

We work with partner organizations to select saplings, conduct soil testing, and encourage organic farming. This helps the farmers and we enjoy working with local communities.<\/p>\n \n

Our vision is to establish a self-sustainable forestry model, creating jobs, income and prosperity for the community. Our pledge to plant a million trees is coming true.<\/p>\n \n

Awarded with Bronze medal<\/b><\/h4>\n

In 2024, both of Taratec\u2019s hands manufacturing factories proudly secured the bronze medal in recognition of its sustainability efforts. Taratec factories showed an improved performance in the score card and attained 79th percentile compared to the 67th percentile last year. \n <\/p>\n <\/div> \n <\/div>\n\n\n

We are Certified<\/b><\/h4>\n

We have received ISO 14001 (Environmental management) and ISO 45001(Occupational Health and safety) certificates. We have also attained the Sedex membership (Social Accountability).<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

EcoVadis Rating<\/b><\/h4>\n

EcoVadis, based in Paris, France, is a highly regarded provider of business sustainability ratings, with a vast network of over 85,000 rated companies worldwide.<\/p>\n\n

Their assessment methodology evaluates a company’s incorporation of sustainability principles into its business and management system. In 2023, one of Taratec’s factories proudly secured the bronze medal in recognition of its sustainability efforts.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n\n

The Million Tree Project<\/b><\/h4>\n

Started in 2020, Taratec, along with the associate companies and brands, has jointly pledged to work with responsible agencies to plant and nurture one million trees in denuded areas of India over 10 years.\n\n In the first phase we have worked with ISHA Foundation and their project Cauvery Calling, which aims to save the basin of the beautiful River Cauvery that is rapidly drying. We aim to support other similar projects.<\/p>\n\n

We make these contributions in the name of our business partners, our customers, and our staff \u2013 to whom we owe our success and immeasurable gratitude.<\/p>\n

We have planted 104,555 trees so far.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

Recycled Brass<\/b><\/h4>\n

To craft our watch dials and hands, we use premium brass imported from dedicated suppliers. However, a significant amount of it used to end up as scrap. To minimize air freight and reduce waste, we now recycle these blanked strips locally.
